My paintings are all about the figure. Whenever one sees two people together, there is a story. We instantly judge people, determine if they are a friend, and consider their activity. My figures present a narrative, they are engaged with each other, and therefore with you the viewer.
The stylized human forms are part of the 10,000 year old tradition of abstracting the human form. I love to exaggerate aspects of our bodies, and change the scale of our parts. I want to eroticize the bodies, and their connection to each other. Sex is a powerful force, I strive to titilate.
